The Living Desert is committed to fostering the next generation of conservation heroes. We are hosting our second STEAM Career Day on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in observation of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science to highlight women in STEAM professions. Our goal is to inspire diverse learners to engage in scientific exploration and inquiry to address the environmental challenges of today and tomorrow. We hope that young visitors will see themselves reflected in the featured STEAM Ambassadors and know that they too can change the world.

Join The Living Desert and our partners on February 10th between 10am and 1pm for the opportunity to meet and interact with women in STEAM and participate in hands-on STEAM activities. We embrace diversity and inclusivity, and we warmly welcome attendees of all genders to join us on this empowering day of inspiration and education. Students K-12 will have the chance to talk with women in:
