WildLights
Celebrate the season at The Living Desert's cherished holiday event. Returning for its 31st season, WildLights will feature several new and reimagined light displays, and more than three million dazzling lights throughout the park. World Giraffe Day-- Desert Style
The Living Desert is celebrating the tallest animal on the shortest day of the year-- December 21st. Join us at the Zoo for a special celebration, where guests will have the unique opportunity to go into the giraffe habitat to see it from the inside out while the animals are off-habitat.

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is excited to host its International Desert Conservation Summit. The event will be a significant gathering of experts from around the world focused on saving deserts and the animals, plants and communities that call the desert home.
Winter Mini ZooCamp
In this one-day ZooCamp, your junior adventurer will get creative as they learn about wildlife and their natural surroundings through hands-on activities, crafting, special animal encounters, and more. These STEAM based activities are designed for grades K through 6.
