OR tune in for our Facebook Live on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:00pm PST
The Living Desert is traveling to Mongolia... and you can too!
Come join us in Mongolia this summer to explore the lives of grassland animals, from the hedgehog to the Siberian ibex, and participate in vital on-the-ground conservation efforts to protect their home! Join us and become a steward of the desert steppe through the Wildlife of the Mongolian Steppe Earthwatch program, an initiative led in partnership with The Living Desert's conservation team.
Ready to learn more about the conservation efforts or how you could join? Attend one of our upcoming information sessions!
Thursday, May 9 at 12:00pm (in person) Hear from Gana Wingard, leader of The Living Desert's Mongolian conservation efforts, for a first-hand account of working in the Ikh Nart Nature Reserve, the critical conservation work being conducted, and how you can get involved.
Wednesday, May 15 at 5:00pm PST (Facebook Live) Join in a live Q&A about the program with The Living Desert's Vice President of Conservation, Dr. James Danoff-Burg.
