Palm Desert/Indian Wells -- (August 11, 2022) --The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is ready to hire over 70 full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions at its upcoming job fair on Saturday, August 20, 2022.  Positions include guest services, food service associates and cooks, retail, administration, custodial, maintenance, and animal care.

A beloved community gem and leading conservation organization, The Living Desert has welcomed millions of guests into the park to explore and learn about the desert’s wildlife and wild places. The Zoo recently celebrated a record-breaking year and is looking to expand the team with skilled, friendly, and dedicated candidates to help support general daytime and special event operations.

Where: The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, 47900 Portola Ave, Palm Desert

Who: Qualified candidates at least 18 years of age seeking full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions.

To attend the job fair, candidates should arrive interview-ready and bring their resume and valid ID. Attendees are encouraged to complete an application prior to arriving at the job fair. All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 including booster, and pass a background check prior to employment. Concessions, food service, and retail positions are offered and hired through our partner, The SSA Group.
