PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS, CA -- (December 16, 2022) – The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is thrilled to announce it has received USA TODAY’S 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Award for Best Zoo Lights for the fourth year in a row!
“It’s an honor for WildLights to be recognized for the fourth year in a row by USA Today readers as a 10Best Zoo Lights,” said Erin Scott, Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications at The Living Desert. “WildLights is celebrating its 30th season of delighting guests during the holiday season and we look forward to welcoming the community to join us for the final two weeks of the event.”
WildLights is now open nightly, December 16-24 and 26-30 and offers guests an illuminated holiday wonderland featuring over a million twinkling lights. Activities include roasting s’mores, dancing through the new Tunnel of Lights, seeing animals along the African Safari pathway, and riding the carousel. And don’t miss a visit and photo with Santa before he returns to the North Pole late on Christmas Eve.
WildLights, presented by the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, runs nightly December 16-24 and 26-30 (closed December 25), from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with last admission at 8:30 p.m. WildLights supporting sponsors are HiTech Lights and Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream.
Advanced reservations are required for both members and guests, as event capacity is limited. Admission to WildLights is $16 for adults, $14 for members, $12 for children 3- 12. Children under three are free. For tickets and more information, visit LivingDesert.org/WildLights or call 760-346-5694.
